As Site Manager, you will be based in Iggesund on the coast of Hälsingland, 9 kilometers south of Hudiksvall.

Your Future Challenge
As an environmental engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our operations in the environmental field. Together with engaged colleagues, you will drive important environmental initiatives and ensure that we meet both internal and external environmental requirements. Along with your environmental engineer colleague, you will closely collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and operators to make the best decisions for the business regarding the impact on the external environment. Some examples of others you will closely collaborate with include financial controllers, automation technicians, and sustainability specialists. In your work, you will have the support of the company's other expert knowledge, giving you the opportunity to take broad responsibility for environmental work.
In this role, you will work broadly and be relationship-building. An important part of your work involves developing and improving self-monitoring programs and following up on environmental measurements. Your tasks will also include evaluating and controlling our compliance with environmental permits. This also means that an important task is to report environmental data to both authorities and internal stakeholders. You will be the environmental coordinator for Iggesund Mill, including our units Ströms Bruk and Skärnäs Port.
You will collaborate with other units within Holmen for experience and knowledge exchange as well as within various projects for joint activities in the environmental field. In the environmental area, you will be the company's representative and contact with authorities. Finally, you will plan and coordinate inspections and other visits from stakeholders and authorities.
To Succeed in the Role
We are looking for someone who is a skilled problem solver and has the ability to find solutions even in challenging situations. In this role, you will have daily contact with the operations, other departments, supervisory authorities, and private individuals, which requires a high degree of collaboration and the ability to create and maintain good relationships. You are unpretentious and flexible in your working style. To have the best conditions for taking on the role, we see that you have an academic education in the environmental field. Knowledge of administrative legislation and the Environmental Code, as well as knowledge of environmental management systems ISO 14 001, is required. We also see that you have good experience in reviewing and writing reports. Requirements for the position include good knowledge of Swedish and English. Logic and personality tests may occur in this recruitment process.
